As everyone with kids kows it is hard to be a mom, and the first few weeks (probably longer)with a new baby is somewhat overwelming. Julia is sort of a fussy thing and just likes to be held or nursed, which makes the begging for jumping on the tramp or asking to be fed pudding through a medicine dropper hard things to do. Of course the house is a mess and the lawn isn't mowed and Walter poured a whole bottle of creamer in his cheerios for breakfast this morning. (This is the 3rd time he has poured the whole bottle out, good thing they were free)

Anyway you know how it goes.

I was trying to get the kids down to naps today, walter climbed on the excercise ball to get into his crib to get his three pacifiers he has been extra attached to the last few weeks, anyway needless to say the ball rolled and he bonked his head so I decided to go take Julia to Jackson's room so he could hold her while I sang a song to Walter and gave him a second of attention. When I went into Jacksons room to sing to him he was singing Julia a prinmary song and they were both snuggled in his bed, so I decided to take advantage of free arms and ran upstairs to do something, 5 minutes later I went back down to check on them and they were both alseep all snuggled up.

So with all that I just wanted to share with someone that there are moments of sweet relief, even if it's 1:30 in the afternoon I haven't taken a shower or gotten dressed and the house is just stickier and messier even than yesterday.

Of course I know who you are!
I have seen you comment on Krazycoupon lady.
Do you have a blog, I am curious to see how old your baby is it is crazy what babies do, it is amazing to see how fast other people's babies grow when you don't see them.

Lindsey! That's so fun that you have 3. My husband and I and our 2 kids just moved to Washington. I'll have to let you know when we are heading to Idaho so I can go have lunch with you or something. Are you still doing photo? I gave it up for awhile. It was to hard while my husband was in grad school. I'm hoping to get a new camera and get back into it again soon. My husband and I went to Rexburg about a month ago and we saw Bro. Smith. He gave me some tips on the best camera to buy. Good luck with 3 kids! That is the most touching story about Jackson helping you take care of baby, and him and Julia falling asleep side by side. I love it! Can I submit it to the Friend magazine for ya?
